One Great Love (We Only Have To Ask)

One Great Love, (We Only Have To Ask) is a collaboration of songwriting and performance talent geared toward A gospel message. My dear friend Linda wrote the lyrics for a majority of the songs. I was in colaboration with a couple of the writers and composed a couple of the pieces both music and lyrics.

"Make My Life A Prayer", "Fall Fresh On Me", "One Great Love", "My Lord, My God, My All", "A Home Within Your Heart", "Here I Am Lord", "Your Presence Goes Before Me", were a collection written by my friend Linda. "At Your Table", "Once (Gods People", and Divine Voice were written by various friends of mine. "Love In This World", and "I Am The Light", were written music and lyrics by me.

A few of these songs have been used by various congregations of different denominations over the last 20 years. My sincere hope is that they find their way into many forms of worship services as Initial Praise Songs, Special Music Presentations, Communition Songs, Offering Music, and Sending Forth Songs.

Recording this CD was a wonderful experience. Two of the musicians were local musicians I had met in a Bluegrass community who attended regularly scheduled jam sessions and played locally. My wife and my sister contributed harmony vocals and the cantor at my church contributed many of the vocals. It was an amazing time we had serving our Lord through music.
